Typiora is an AI chat assistant and iOS keyboard tool. It can analyze chat screenshots or selected text and generate suggested replies, translations, conversation analysis, and related AI-powered writing assistance.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 User Content

When you request AI features, Typiora may collect and process the content you choose to provide, including chat screenshots, selected chat text, prompts, style or goal selections, language selections, and generated AI replies.

Uploaded screenshots may contain messages, usernames, profile photos, faces, or other information visible in the screenshot. You should avoid submitting passwords, payment details, government identifiers, medical information, or other highly sensitive information.

1.2 Keyboard Extension Content

The Typiora Keyboard extension can send the text you choose to analyze to Typiora services only when you actively request AI replies or related AI assistance. iOS may require "Full Access" for the keyboard extension to make network requests. Typiora does not use the keyboard extension to collect everything you type across other apps.

Typiora may create or use an anonymous account identifier to keep your subscription status, purchase verification records, remaining credits or tokens, product eligibility, and related account state accurate across sessions.

1.4 Purchase Information

If you purchase subscriptions or token packages, payments are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We receive and process purchase verification data such as transaction identifiers, signed transaction information, subscription status, expiration status, product identifiers, and related verification records. We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple.

1.5 Device, App, and Log Information

We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, anonymous device or vendor identifiers, request timestamps, feature usage metadata, error messages, and security or diagnostic logs. 1.7 Advertising Identifier and App Tracking Transparency

With your permission through Apple's AppTrackingTransparency framework, Typiora may access the device advertising identifier (IDFA) for advertising attribution, ad performance measurement, and improving advertising relevance. You may allow or deny tracking when the iOS permission prompt is shown and may change your choice in iOS Settings.
